It&#8217;s the end of Week 7 of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oneroomchallenge.com\/orc-blog\" target=\"_blank\">Spring 2020 One Room Challenge<\/a>. So glad you joined us! If you&#8217;re unfamiliar with this event then you&#8217;re in for a treat. Each Spring and Fall, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oneroomchallenge.com\/featured-designers\" target=\"_blank\">20 Featured Designers <\/a>are selected by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oneroomchallenge.com\/about\" target=\"_blank\">Linda Weinstein<\/a> and the ORC team for a 6-week challenge where they each take us along on their journey to an incredible room transformation! Feeling inspired? <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oneroomchallenge.com\/orc-blog\" target=\"_blank\">Guest Participants<\/a>, like yours truly, with a blog or Instagram account can register and join in on the action. I&#8217;m thankful Hubby indulges me with all my crazy ideas because this one was a pain! We decided to install 11 of these IKEA storage cubbies which took much longer than anticipated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns no-bottom-margin is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1058\" height=\"1411\" src=\"https:\/\/neatlyliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/20200101_222151755_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"Storage cubbies boxes\" class=\"wp-image-1778\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1058\" height=\"1411\" src=\"https:\/\/neatlyliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/20200101_222208834_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1779\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We created our pattern and started with the bottom section because it was a lot easier to slide these cubbies in place from bottom to top. You&#8217;ll definitely want to mark on your wall where you&#8217;re planning to install each cubby. This install process was really trial and error with a sprinkle of just pure luck!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns no-bottom-margin is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-2 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1058\" height=\"1411\" src=\"https:\/\/neatlyliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/20200105_223029301_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"Wall storage cubbies\" class=\"wp-image-1780\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1058\" height=\"1411\" src=\"https:\/\/neatlyliving.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/20200105_223043481_iOS.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1781\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You may notice that we used 2 different depth sizes for these IKEA storage cubbies. I think this choice added more dimension and interest to the overall, finished look.  You can literally arrange these pieces in any pattern that tickles your fancy. They&#8217;re so fun and really allow your creativity to shine! It&#8217;s Belgian Flax Linen in Frost Gray.
