Using <a href=\"http:\/\/homedepot.sjv.io\/5OWZb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">birch plywood<\/a>, we tackled the vertical pieces first, cut 6&#8243; wide. These were glued on to help keep them in place and further secured with brad nails. To keep it interesting we used 3 different horizontal panel sizes. The door was initially painted in a semi-gloss finish but we quickly realized that was a mistake! Ours was very misleading and so much heavier than expected! We highly recommend purchasing an <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3sin0Na\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">air wedge bag pump leveling kit<\/a>. This inflates to the perfect height to get under the door and allows you to easily pop out and reinstall the door hinges.
