We constructed each trim using 4 pieces of <a href=\"https:\/\/homedepot.sjv.io\/WDvY2A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2&#215;4 lumber<\/a>. We purchased them in large sheets and then ripped them down, using our <a href=\"https:\/\/homedepot.sjv.io\/oegnGg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">table saw<\/a>,  to our specific dimensions. Once we located the wall studs, we used <a href=\"https:\/\/homedepot.sjv.io\/RyNR2N\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2&#8243; screws<\/a> to secure the bench back into the wall and through the studs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DIY Tip<\/strong> &#8211; Invest in a good <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3ukZe6g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stud finder<\/a>! There are many options available with different methodologies. We first secured the bench bottom to the base support using <a href=\"https:\/\/homedepot.sjv.io\/RyNR2N\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2&#8243; screws<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DIY Tip<\/strong> &#8211; The length of the screw you use is determined by the thickness of both wood pieces you&#8217;re securing together.
